Christy graduated from the University of Florida in 2000 and 2001 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Occupational Therapy and Master of Health Science in Occupational Therapy, respectively. She began her practice in Florida, but moved to Georgia in 2002. She has predominately worked in the school, early intervention, and outpatient pediatric settings, but also in geriatric subacute rehab, skilled nursing, and home health. She is passionate about identifying the gifts and abilities of children and promoting their independence.
She is married to Erik, of 15 years, and has three children. When she is not homeschooling the older ones and chasing the toddler around, she enjoys running, hiking, camping, and cooking gluten free dishes.
