Jean attended Northeastern University in Boston where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing. She continued on to graduate school, earning her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Michigan State University. After completing the doctoral program, she worked as a research associate at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf in Rochester, NY. Her career then shifted to teaching and clinical supervision at private universities in Michigan and California. In recent years, she provided speech services at the California School for the Deaf in Riverside. Dance studios, golf courses, and dog parks (with Rudee Pomeranian) are some of Jean’s favorite places. Interests also include devotional reading, writing, listening to music, and at some point, learning to make music with keyboard and guitar.
